I worked alongside Mila for a year and a half (between November 2022 and March 2024) as a Growth Outbound Manager.

Mila is an insurance company offering real estate brokers and insurance agents products such as Rent Guarantee Insurance or Non-Occupying Owner Insurance.

The objective during our collaboration was to generate 10 new leads per month through outbound marketing.

Mila had never experimented with outbound before — I started from scratch and implemented a strategy that allowed us to contact between 500 and 600 prospects split across the two audiences, via cold emailing, following this process:

  1. Precise definition of ICPs and their personas (using a Spreadsheet Matrix highlighting the elements needed to find them, along with their pains, value propositions, and the benefits of the offer…).
  2. Building databases to find as many brokers and agents as possible: Pappers, Pharow, SocieteInfo, BetterContact…
  3. Writing messages and iterating on multiple value propositions (testing phase over 3 to 6 months of campaigns): Lemlist.
  4. Scaling the messages and audiences that generated the most opportunities and responses (contacting up to 600 people per month).
  5. Connecting with the CRM and the Sales team to manage follow-ups, phone outreach, and monitor the effectiveness of marketing actions: Zapier and HubSpot.

Results: Over the course of the project, I was able to generate between 15 and 25 sales calls per month. The initial goal was largely exceeded, as the Sales closing rate was above 50%.
